‘Faintest Idea’: gwead atmosfferig o werin gyfoes gyda haen hyfryd gitâr ddur-bedal John Lawrence. Mae’r gân yn dathlu’r syniad o gartref yng ngorllewin Môn. Mae Fiona a Gorwel Owen wedi recordio tri CD erbyn hyn, gan gynnwys yr albwm ‘Releasing Birds’ llynedd: casgliad o ddeuddeg cân wedi’u sgwennu a recordio’n yn fisol drwy 2014.
‘Faintest Idea’ is an atmospheric slice of contemporary folk with splashes of John Lawrence's pedal steel, celebrating home on the west coast of Anglesey. Fiona & Gorwel Owen have recorded three albums to date, including their most recent CD ‘Releasing Birds’, an album compiling twelve songs written and recorded monthly during 2014.

Bought solely for the beats of the two haunting Alys Williams tracks, though I respect the artist's vision by getting the entire album rather than individual tracks. I'm glad I did so, because while I still don't think that the collection hangs together that well, the other tracks are growing on me.
