Cafodd y band ei enwi ar ôl pentref ym Mhen Llŷn, ond mae’n hanu o ddyffrynnoedd tonnog Sir Ddinbych. Mae Anelog yn cyfuno syntheseiswyr analog gydag offerynnau mwy traddodiadol i greu y cymysgedd unigryw o gerddoriaeth werin bop seicedelig. Mae ‘Siabod’ yn dwyn i gof diwrnod a dreuliwyd ar fynydd Moel Siabod, lle daeth y band ar draws oergell retro digyswllt oedd rhywsut yn rhyddhau sŵn hymian lleddfol cyson.
Named after a village on the Llŷn Peninsula, but hailing from the rolling vales of Denbighshire, Anelog combine analogue synthesisers with more traditional instruments to create their unique blend of psychedelic folk pop. ‘Siabod’ evokes a day spent on Moel Siabod (a mountain), where the band discovered a disconnected retro fridge somehow emitting a constant, dull humming sound.

Bought solely for the beats of the two haunting Alys Williams tracks, though I respect the artist's vision by getting the entire album rather than individual tracks. I'm glad I did so, because while I still don't think that the collection hangs together that well, the other tracks are growing on me.
