Recordiwyd ‘Segontiwm’ yn wreiddiol ar gyfer trac sain ffilm fer fel rhan o brosiect artist preswyl Segontiwm. Caer Rhufeinig yw Segontiwn ar gyrion tref Caernarfon. Bydd y ddau yn gweithio ar bolisi ‘canfan wag’ pan yn ysgrifennu a recordio gyda’i gilydd – gyda pob syniad a darn yn cael ei greu yn y fan a’r lle.
‘Segontiwm’ was originally recorded as the soundtrack to a short film as part of the Segontium Artist In Residency project. Segontium (Welsh: Segontiwm) is a Roman Fort on the outskirts of Caernarfon. The pair operate a strict ‘blank canvass’ policy when writing and recording together – all ideas and parts are thought up on the day.

Bought solely for the beats of the two haunting Alys Williams tracks, though I respect the artist's vision by getting the entire album rather than individual tracks. I'm glad I did so, because while I still don't think that the collection hangs together that well, the other tracks are growing on me.
